We host groups of 2 to 16 guests! Our intimate packages are perfect for 2–6 guests. For larger groups, The Gathering welcomes up to 16 guests, and The Canvas up to 12 if Texture Painting is calling your name. Whatever your group size, we'll create a beautiful experience tailored just for you.

Absolutely! You pick your preferred date and time during booking, and the slot is yours the moment your payment goes through — then we reach out to finalize the little details. We recommend booking at least 3 days in advance — that way you also avoid the $30 rush fee we add to last-minute dates. Keep in mind that weekends book up quickly — so the sooner you reserve your spot, the better!

When your date is less than 3 days away, we rebuild our week around it — moving prep, errands and other setups to clear the time for you. That's a $30 rush fee on any picnic booked that close. If your picnic includes fresh food or flowers, it's $30 more: those can't be bought ahead, so they mean a separate trip to the store right before your setup, so everything reaches you fresh. You always see the fee in your price summary before you pay — and it disappears entirely if you pick a date 3 or more days out.

On larger picnics — usually anything over $800 — a second person comes with me. Two of us carry and build the setup, and while I'm styling the details, she's already filming and photographing, so you get more photos and video of the moment instead of a few rushed shots at the end. A setup that size is simply too much for one pair of hands. That's a flat $100, shown as its own line in your price summary before you pay. Our proposal packages already include her, so nothing extra is added there.

Payments are non-refundable, because the moment you book we set your date and time aside exclusively for you and turn away other requests for that slot. That said, life happens — tell us at least 5 days ahead and we'll gladly move your picnic to another available date at no charge, or turn your payment into a gift card you can use toward a future booking within 1 month. Between 5 and 3 days before your picnic we can still move your date for a $50 rescheduling fee, since the week is already built around it.

We set up in outdoor locations of your choice — parks, private properties, backyards, or scenic spots around Austin. We'll work with you to find the perfect location. Many public parks require a reservation, but the spots we recommend are ones we've personally vetted — and they're free to use.

Travel within 15 miles of North Austin is complimentary. Beyond that, we charge $1 per mile each way.

Just tell us in the booking form — there's a question about it right under the location. Everything we bring is carried in by hand: tables, cushions, flowers, décor. If the way in means more than three steps, rocks, a hill, or a long walk from parking, we bring a second pair of hands, and that's an extra $50 for a picnic for two, $100 for group setups and The Forever Yes, or $150 for groups of 11 or more. Flat, easy spots cost nothing extra, and the parks we set up in ourselves — Mueller and Peace Park — never carry the fee. Not sure what your spot is like? Pick “I'm not sure” and we'll look at it together before anything is charged.

If rain is forecast, we'll simply reschedule your picnic. If it starts raining during your picnic, we'll set up another one for you — at no extra cost.

No worries! Just let us know when you're ready to wrap up and we'll come take care of the cleanup — you just focus on enjoying your experience. We only ask that someone stays with the setup until we arrive, as we're not responsible for items left unattended.

Everything we bring — linens, cushions, rugs, tableware, and décor — remains the property of Resonance Picnic Austin, and we take care of all setup and cleanup so you never have to lift a finger. While the setup is yours to fully enjoy, we kindly ask that our pieces be treated with care. In the rare event that an item is lost, damaged, or permanently stained — for example, spilled wine that can't be washed out — a repair or replacement fee for the affected pieces may apply. This simply allows us to keep every setup as beautiful for the next guests as it was for you.

We send you every good shot from the session — not a fixed number. We shoot on a professional camera, and the photos reach you within 10 days by download link — full resolution, yours to print and post. Around holidays and on our busiest weeks it can take a little longer, and we'll always tell you when to expect them. A 15-minute session is already included in Pillow Talk and Daydream; anywhere else you can add 15 minutes for $75 or 30 minutes for $90, and you can add both if you want the whole picnic covered.

We buy them the morning of your picnic, never the day before. They travel in a vase of water in the car, they stand in that water through your whole picnic, and they go home with you at the end — bring them straight indoors and they keep for days. Roses in a keepsake box are watered too. That is why our flowers cost a little more than a supermarket bunch: the delivery, the vase and the care are already in the price, and a florist charges for those separately.
